1994 Ford Thunderbird LX review from North America
"Smaller engine, great performance"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The driver side head gasket blew, had replaced at about 75,000.
Minor radiator seal leak, had seal replaced at 63,000.
My car would not shift from second to third had a spring and pin replaced in the transmission at 65,000 miles.
The driver side window bracket broke, just had to re-weld the bracket.
Had to replace the tension pulley at 75,000.
General comments?
I was really surprised by how well the V6 performed.
I get descent gas mileage, about 20 city and almost 30 on the highway.
The seats are really comfortable and there is plenty of room in the interior.
And if you're looking for trunk space there is plenty off it.
