2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT review from North America
"Will start looking for my next Grand Prix soon!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Fuel Pump - 88,000 miles. Replacement was a bugger, pump is in the tank. Pigtail was the biggest challenge.
Check Engine Light - 98,000 miles after routine oil change. Not sure of the culprit at this time, but will be in shop soon for diagnostics. Nothing unusual-mileage normal.
Steering Wheel/Key release issues at 72,000 miles; easy to remedy, and seems to have been remedied - no major investment.
General comments?
Love the car - Wider IS Better. Front wheel drive is much better in the snow and ice than rear. I have performance tires on, and therefore, the handling in the elements (slush) is less that desirable, but that's my choice. The handling is great, and the ride is very comfortable for a coupe.
