1989 Nissan Sunny ZX review from UK and Ireland
"A high performance bargain"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I've had the car for some time.
The air meter is not working properly, but the car seems to still go. This part is very costly (£500.00 or over).
The tranmission box that controls the timing (£170.00).
The drive gear that controls the speedo clock on the dash. This is very easy to replace. It is on the end on the cable that goes into the gearbox. This part seems to go every 25,000 miles.
The back reverse light switch.
CV boots. But really you will get this with every car at this age. But it is a very good car.
General comments?
It's got some kick. Well a lot of kick. Good car throughout. But the only thing is, don't get the parts from Nissan, you need to take another morgage out.
