What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rear bushes,
petrol tank leak,
headgasket,
worn seats,
General comments?
I bought this car as it was for sale at a good price, and I like BMW's having owned a few.
It was a Mauritius blue 2dr coupe with cloth interior and 16" BMW Alloys, i put an BMW MTEC bodykit on it also.
This car was a nice car overall and was fairly quick, a little slow low down the rev range, but above 4000rpm it pulls hard, and the straight six sounds very nice too.
It beat my friends new mini cooper of the lights. And i got it to 140mph on the motorway.
Fuel consumption wasn't great around town, but OK on motorways.
I only owned the car for a year and had a few problems, but I put this down to the cars age and mileage.
I sold the car due to the head-gasket going, but still made a small profit :) RC.
