2001 Renault Clio review from UK and Ireland
"The car is useless at the minute"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have had a renault clio 1.2 from new. Bought it from the Renault Dealer, So it's now about 4+ years old. Had no problems with it until November last year. The car started to judder. It can happen whilst you are traveling at speed the gearstick will start shaking and there is a lose of power. Also this can happen when in traffic or coming up to a junction. It feel like the car is going to stop and it's not ticking over properly. Anyway I took it into the Renault Dealer and they assured me it was a faulty wiring loom. So this was changed at a cost £320 got the car back and it's still doing the same thing. Took it back in to the garage and now they don't what the fault is as the diagonostic machine does come up with any fault codes. So they have suggested it could be the injection system which they said is £600 but they don't know for sure. Can anyone help me on this matter?
General comments?
Please help on this matter if possible. It looks this is a common fault on clio's.
