1999 Daewoo Cielo review from Romania
"Excellent car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The front-left electric window has broken after ~80.000km (A fault I have seen in many Cielo-s)
The 'breech fitting' had to be changed after 120.000 km.
General comments?
Excellent car for Romanian standards. I followed all maintenance work as prescribed, and never had any engine problem before 120.000km!
The car is comfortable and still reasonably silent at high speed. It has the tendency to skid on high speed and wet road, maybe because it's quite light. Good acceleration.
The interior is quite 'bare' by today standards, but it's functional. The glove pocket rattled sometimes at high speed.
