1995 Geo Tracker Standard review from North America
"Great Little Commuter Car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Check Engine Light came on with a EGR code. I found that the pipe carrying the exhaust to the intake manifold was clogged with carbon as well as the air plenum connection to the pipe.
The oil pan had some rust holes allowing oil seepage. I repaired it rather easily with J.B. Weld.
General comments?
I enjoy driving my Tracker and my Grand Children think it's COOL.
The 4 wheel drive gets me through the snow with little effort.
The engine seems very strong with 168000 miles on the odometer. When I changed the valve cover gasket I noticed that the camshaft and valve train were in excellent condition.
I am looking forward to lowering the top this summer and maybe traveling off road with the Grandsons.
I am going to tow my Tracker behind my Motorhome while Traveling this season.
