2004 Audi A3 2.0 TDI SPORT review from UK and Ireland
"Great to drive, but not perfect"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Radio lights keep getting dimmer
coolant leaks meant 6 visits to dealers and only after warranty expired by 8 weeks was it found to be a cylinder head problem, although previously pressure tested. Got £2500 bill down to £0 after a bit of putting foot down.
If you are experiencing coolant leaks on your New A3 diesel treat it seriously and if problems finding the reason get the engine pressure tested for a cylinder head problem (keep the paperwork)
Rain comes in when window opened a little
Wipers stopped in fast lane in heavy snow
Tyre noise bad if don't buy original type.
General comments?
Most solid car ever owned.
Joy to sit in and drive on long journeys.
44mpg fuel economy (Diesel) & I drive fast.
