2001 Ford Econoline review from North America
"Dependable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
130000-Less than one month after buying, transmission went. $1500
138000-Just put front brakes on yesterday after five months.
General comments?
Although I have only owned this van for five months, I love it. It is used hard and heavily loaded at all times. It drives well, has plenty of power when needed, and it has never failed to start or left us stranded. My wife drives it to area flea markets 3-4 days a week with it loaded to the ceiling with merchandise and it never struggles to maintain speed. I hope in the long run it continues to impress me.
