2000 Renault Megane Alize review from UK and Ireland
"Minor Faults, but a brilliant car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Have a recurring problem with the Engine Management Light, problem seems to occur at 2500rpm 5th gear (approx. 50mph), Cat and all related air intake and outlet sensors have been replaced, and fault is still apparent.
Coil packs died (2 of) was running on 2 cylinders for a short time, other than that it's a charm.
General comments?
Car is lovley to drive and is suprisingly reliable considering the fault mentioned above, drives like a charm and would depending on reviews purchase another one, however the Management Light issue does lower confidence and increase stress. Would be nice to have a resolution from Renault, however always pressing on to try to get them to fix (serves me right getting a car from YES), warranty company easy to deal with and simple to get them to repair things, just the agrovation of always taking the car to them.
