General comments?
2002 Hyundai accent in a word...garbage.
Bought this car for my daughter's commute to school. Now she is looking at her first year of law school and will probably have to buy a new car she cannot afford. She did ALL of the required maintenance and took very good care of the car. All of a sudden the trans just dies. Our old '92 Ford Ranger went to 180k miles. An old Olds Ciera to 145k before it got hit. Brand new Hyundai accent? Only just under 100k?? Looks great, but doesn't run! Looks like we're not the only ones with this problem. Proves the old adage... you get what you pay for! Unfortunately, seems like a lot of people who couldn't afford better are the ones taking a beating. Seriously, can anyone say CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT? How do you start one anyway?
