1991 Nissan EXA Series III review from Australia and New Zealand
"A great car that still turns heads and performs well"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
So far..I have had to replace my:
- CV joints after they went about 2 months of owning this car.
- Suspension due to poor rebound and compression.
- Steering rack was also replaced as it was quite worn and sloppy.
- Coil Pack died which cut the power down to three cylinders on a highway.
General comments?
All things considered this car is still a great car with many great features and has surprisingly competent on the road (all things considered from a 1.8 Litre Engine), and still turns heads at the traffic lights (especially with the roof off).
The only downside is even though I know that I will have to spend some more cash on my car to get to a perfect state (due to normal wear and tear) the availability of some second-hand parts is becoming harder to source, thus more cost involved in buying Genuine Parts. However with any replacement I see it as a great excuse to upgrade to much better parts as many parts on this car are interchangeable with other models.
In any event, as this car is becoming rarer we might eventually see it as a classic car in the near future (or maybe I'm just kidding myself).
