1993 Peugeot 205 CJ review from UK and Ireland
"Joy on four wheels"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Interior Heating fan iffy.
Holes appearing in soft-top near bracket.
General comments?
An absolute joy. A car that puts a smile on my face everytime I get in her.
Small as she is, as soon as you sit in you feel part of the road and hear a sweet noise from the engine.
A rarity on Irish roads, with the roof down it can happily turn heads and you can see all the modern 206cc (or 307cc, meganes etc) realise their car just ain't that special.
Quick accelerator, and lovely handling, means she can catch the more modern drivers by surprise leaving the lights. A real extra when dealing with boy racers in their 'pimped' puntos.
So all in all, an unusual, beautiful car with a matching drive.
