2005 Toyota Kijang Innova G review from Indonesia
"A very popular and reliable MPV"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Everything goes well, except for the fuel consumption which is relatively not very efficient.
General comments?
I, like any other Indonesian, love Toyota Kijang as it is a very popular brand here in Indonesia.
Toyota Kijang was first introduced in 1970s and has gradually been improved to the current generation of Kijang Innova (in other countries, it is known as Toyota Innova). Its total sales reached more than 1 million cars.
I like this car as I like my previous Toyota Kijang 1.8 LGX. This car is already equipped with the latest 2.0L VVTI 150ps engine. The car is quite powerful, stable and very suitable for a medium to long run driving.
Toyota is a leading brand here with almost 40% share. During 2005, Innova sales were 80,000 cars.
