1985 Daihatsu Charade CS review from Indonesia
"Small and smart"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Noisy and loud sound came from the belts, especially in the morning.
Slightly noisy engine sound.
Dashboard quality was ordinary.
General comments?
Daihatsu as a well-known small car manufacturer produced this Charade with a success. It was a very popular car in early 1980s and competed face to face with Suzuki Swift.
Although its cabin is smaller than Suzuki Swift, but from a design point of view, Charade was definitely won the competition.
Daihatsu Charade will remain in my memory as it is my first own car.
