2000 Ford Fiesta Zetec review from UK and Ireland
"Highly Recommended Small Car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A minor rattle on the exhaust which cost me £5 for a new clip.
General comments?
This car for the money is one hell of a car and in my opinion the best car in its class for its age and price.
This car has electric windows, power steering, air con, remote central locking, alarm, immobiliser & 14" alloy wheels all at a low cost.
Speed wise it can keep up with a lot of hot hatches out there and compared to my last car a 1.0 Vauxhall Corsa Envoy this feels like an F1 Car.
Being over 6ft this car is adequate enough when in the front 2 seats, but in the back can be a tight squeeze.
Boot space is average, but with the back seats down gives you a lot of room.
Reliability has been excellent for the year that I've owned it with the only costs being services and MOT & the small cost of repairing the exhaust.
With the cheap running costs, the low insurance group and the fuel economy this car is an ideal car for a first car or a cheap runabout which is quite nippy.
