2001 Hyundai Accent Verna review from Indonesia
"Troublesome"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Major problems started to happen when the car reached around 30,000 km.
Before 30,000 km, brake pads started to wear badly and replacement was urgently needed.
Then something wrong happened to the brake, checked to the auto repair centre. They found that the brake pump needed to be replaced.
Sounds became erratic and noisy. I thought it was due to the fuel I used, I changed the fuel with higher octane one, but the sound still remained.
Steering wheel became shaky and found that the engine mountings needed to be replaced.
Handling suddenly became unstable because of tie rod wear. Then I changed the tie rod and related parts.
Replaced all shock breakers with new ones.
General comments?
Actually the model looks OK, but the quality is questionable.
This car was OK for only the first 30,000 km then major problems happened to me.
I was very disappointed and sold the car with only 40% of the original value left.
