2002 Peugeot 307 GLX review from UK and Ireland
"All looks; cheap quality, don't buy one unless you're not bothered about reliability!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Cold Start - Will not start up, 3 to 4 times of trying it ticks over normal.
Anti-Pollution sign appears on the trip computer suddenly and the car cuts out! Leave the car alone for a few minutes and it starts up again as if nothing happened... Imagine your on the motorway and it cut out in the far lane???
Blocked fuel message appears and then just goes away after couple of minutes!
It was a fleet car and I noticed that the car had two major clutch change every 50k and the CD Changer was replaced! Talk about being flimsy and weak?
The carpet is short and the plastic bits on radio & CD control are prone to snapping!
General comments?
What can I say? I had the car for less than a month and 500 miles later complaining! The design and interior space is wicked, but niggly problems are making me crazy.
I love this car, but it looks like certain things have been badly designed for cost cutting and hence why so many 307 drivers are complaining.
