1994 GMC Jimmy SLE review from North America
"12 Years Old and still going strong"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My biggest complaint is the EGR Valve.
I changed it 3 times. Lately it was suggested by the Dealer to use Sunoco Gas.
Since I changed to Sunoco, it runs much better and the idling is not too bad.
The first thing that broke was the Middle
Armrest Compartment Door. The Wiper comes on when I use the indicator (This only happens in Summer). The Rear Window Defogger stopped working after the fourth year (Poor Design). Left Indicator Light
sticks and I have to disengage manually.
General comments?
I love my Jimmy. I bought it new and always took good care of it. Followed the
Manufacturers Manual for servicing and changed Oil when recommended. It has served me well and still drives well.
I enjoy driving it both in Winter and Summer.
