1990 Nissan 240SX SE review from North America

Radiator was leaking when I bought it. Also, the reason the lady I bought it from was selling it was because she thought the injectors were leaking. I could smell gas, and planned on replacing the injectors, but I twisted and pushed them in the holes just for kicks and magicilly they stopped leaking. Oh yeah, the heat/air only blows out of the center vents...weird. The timing chain rattles like a champ when I first start it up. Not driving it until I replace it next weekend along with the water-pump, belts, hoses, and oil pump. Hey, it's an old car and I don't want to get stranded!

These little cars are awesome! Even though mine is an automatic its still fun to drive... maybe one day I'll put the faster engine and a manual tranny in. I originally bought this car as a work vehicle to keep the miles off my firebird. I love this car so much I selling my firebird! Anyone want to buy it? Even with 174k on it it runs well and handles excellent. This car is a two seater... the back seat is just for looks. Love the body/inside of this car... still looks modern all these years later. I have been attacking e-bay for aftermarket parts/wheels...I can't wait to start modding this car (I have to sell the bird first; someone buy it please!). Can't say enough good stuff about these cars... I bought it from a lady I work with and I tell her eveyday how much I love it! Everyone thinks I'm crazy for selling my much newer, much nicer firebird for an old, high mileage nissan; but buy one and you'll understand!!! I'll never get rid of this car... but I will buy an s14 to have the best of both 240's. I am very inexperienced with these cars so if anyone can give me hints/ideas on how to make it better please let me know! Peace!
