1995 Fiat Coupe review from Latvia
"If you have an other option - stay away form it!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Idle throttle calibrator was not functioning when bought.
VERY bad LPK (17l\100 km)
Lambda sensor was not functioning.
All electronics were rewired.
Coolant pump malfunctioned several times.
Replacing disk pads - (150 eur)
Exhauster soft hub replacement needed.
Recalibration of a tachometer just after purchase.
Mine was maintenanced by some jerks of unknow origin, who practically desacrated every part of the car.
General comments?
I'v bought this car due to i'ts (her?) very sporty and sexy exterior and interior, but I never imagined, that it can be so poorly built.
Yes, it looks like a ferrari, but with a classic built quality of a Fiat ~ poor&bad.
After spending about 1k euros and 2 month in a garage, car was restored to the nearly prefect condition.
Nice, head turning, look. Perfect acceleration and torque for a 2.0 without a turbo. Cheap spare parts (mechanics) - can be taken from other Fiats, but VERY (!) expensive bodyparts.
