1986 Ford Tempo GL review from North America
"Best/worst car one can own"
General comments?
The 1986 Ford Tempo I had was a very dependable car for the most part, but it did have its bad points too. For example, when it was summer it ran like crap, but in winter it ran great. In summer it would want to lose speed and cut out a lot. I was so angry at that car at times, but yet no matter how sick she was, she kept running! The front end needed too much to keep her and so finally I had no choice, but to let her go to the junkyard. She was still running even then though at 20 years old! I cried when I got that car because it was so pretty and was sadened when I had to let her go after 6 years, but I didn't have the money to put in her and she needed everything!I now drive an 86 chevy celebrity, but I would love to one day again own a Ford Tempo in mint condition!!!
