1986 Chevrolet Camaro Sport Coupe review from North America
"Great!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My camaro had an intermittent check engine light from day one.
The car would sometimes stall, and die. However, it would start right back up with the turn of a key. My guess was it was an oxygen sensor or another fuel/intake related sensor.
Car always ran fine, just sometimes idled rough. I never got it repaired, simply because it never really affected the car enough to worry me.
These problems killed my gas mileage, however.
Never left me stranded though!
General comments?
Great car! Looks great! T-tops are a plus!
Extremely zippy feel, considering its only got a 135 horsepower v-6.
Comfortable ride.
Aside from my sensor problem, it was a keeper!
Traded it, recently, for a 1997 Trans Am.
Still miss it sometimes. If you can get one that hasn't been abused, go for it! They're way cool.
