The Hydraulic oil is used to elevate the car up and down, a Citroen special, but it is also used as brake fluid and power-steering fluid, so when I loose pressure I have neither brakes, steering or suspension, which are quite essential parts of a car. This is really bugging me as it cost a lot of money to repair all the time. But I am satisfied and impressed over how well the engine still run, after 300000 km, when I first tried it it felt as it was new. If you, by some, ridiculous reason are interested in buying one of these cars you don't have to worry about high mileage or age as these cars and engines are very well crafted. Worry about leaks in the hydraulic system! THere are almost no rust.

I am also impressed over how fast the car is it surely is one of the best accelerating diesels, both when it was build and today, it also have an acceptable top speed, though you might never drive so fast..

It is very comfortable and the the trim level which is one of the highest on BX has electric windows, power steering and central locking.

It is though the ugliest car in the world and it is embarrassing to drive.

It might seem that I am positive about this car, but the design drags it all down to the bottom for me, so don't give this review a Smiley face Car-survey! though design is a matter of personal taste..
