1995 Hyundai Accent GLS review from Malta
"Excellent Car.. However avoid it if you are not ready to pay the fuel bills! ;)"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
After 10 years of being driven on the Maltese Roads;
3 New Sets of Tyres (Bridgestone Potenza Tyres)
1 Complete New Clutch Kit
Bellows
Wheel Adjustments
Ball Joints
Original Radio had to be Replaced.
General comments?
Well after owning this car for 10 years (11 years to be exact hehe:P) I can say that this car is truly rembarkable and very reliable I would say. It has a 1.5 litre petrol engine, and it really pulls off very strongly! In fact if you decide to drive with 40 km/h on fifth gear, the car just takes it happy and easily without having to do a down-change to 4th. In general Hyundai have created a very good car ;)
My only complaints are about the way the seats are manufactered, they are manufactured from hard materials and so if you spend a day of driving I usually end up of back sore. The other complain is about the Fuel Consumption.. since nowadays the fuel prices have risen, a car like this is expected to be really hard on the pocket, considering that it consumes about Lm 15 petrol a week.
