1976 Chevrolet Vega GT review from North America

What things have gone wrong with the car?

About 6 fuel pumps... I think that's it!

General comments?

This was my first car, I bought it when I was 18. I bought the car knowing its' reputation, but I thought it might be fun to see how long I could make it last. It still runs great although I haven't put over 500 miles on it in the last 15 years. The 5 speed on this car and all the gear ratios were definitely designed before the 55mph speed limit since you can't even shift the car into 5th gear until you pass the 60mph mark (without lugging the engine, I mean). Other than the total lack of power, it has been a great car.
