2005 Land Rover Range Rover Sport HSE review from Spain
"Sensational"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The tailgate struts had to be changed before I picked up the car.
General comments?
Previously having owned a Jeep Grand Cherokee, I have to say the difference between the two is chalk and cheese. I loved my JCG, having owned 2 1999 & 2003 models. The RRS is incredible - the comfort is amazing.
Its handling is incredible for such a big car, even without the Dynamic Response.
The automatic gearbox is incredibly smooth and the Terrain Response an amazing box of tricks.
My only complaint about the diesel engine is that it lacks a bit of punch, but this can be fixed by having the car remapped by Turbochip adding another 65hp and 120 Nm, and having the speed limiter removed.
The best advert for this car is everytime I drive it, I have a big smile on my face.
