2003 Cadillac DeVille DTS review from North America
"Great flagship"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
We rented this car for 4 weeks while driving from San Fransisco CA to New Orleans LA, about 5K miles, nothing went wrong in particular.
The only thing bothering us were the tire pressure sensors which are too sensitive. A loud beep from the dash lets you know your tire pressure is not optimal. Kinda logical when your driving down from Colorado mountains towards the sunny New Mexico.
We lowered the tire pressure a little too much due to the slow gauge... the result was a very very low tire pressure and we needed to look for a service station to pressurise them.
General comments?
This is a very solid road car. For the weight of this vehicle it turns pretty quick and has plenty of power to pass almost everything on the highway. Also very quiet.
Very nice to handle and a great comfy drive. Whenever you feel tired just lower your seat and have a nap, you almost forgot you fell into sleep in a car when you wake up! You need to listen to the manual CD before you completely understand all gadgets inside, when you have you can start enjoying them!
The looks of this car are great and classy. Expect the center dash, it's a bit too plastic. But works fine.
