2005 Suzuki XL-7 LX review from North America

The clip that holds the center console shut broke. My fault not the cars.

Otherwise not even a rattle to complain about!

The XL-7 is a very impressive vehicle. We were driving a 3/4 ton luxury conversion van before this and we worried about losing space and hauling ability. For our purposes we need not have worried!

We travel throughout a three state area weekly for work and have a solid average of 21 mpg. Some may consider that low, but after a full size van with a large motor we are very happy with it. We are big people and haul a lot with us each week too. That mileage is including 4 wheel drive usage, city driving etc. Because we use it for work I keep very detailed records for IRS purposes, so that is every drop of gas averaged by every mile driven.

The vehicles handling in snow is nothing short of fantastic. I like that one has the choice to lock it into low range 4 wheel drive if conditions warranty. We looked at several other brands in the same size range and none we looked at offered that option.

With grandchildren the seating for seven is also something that comes in very handy and works very well for us. The controls for rear AC makes them happy too because they don't like it as cool as grandpa:>)

We have not spent a single dime except for oil changes on this vehicle, and have not had to try the warranty either.

If this vehicle continues to be as reliable as thus far, believe me, I will be buying another one in the future!
