1997 Rover - Austin 200 214 Si 16v review from Croatia
"Good looking"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
ECU has gone,it has drained my car battery
Rear window water pump is broken it doesn't spray water
In int. speed front whippers stays in the middle position it doesn't lowers down.
General comments?
Hm where to begin? It is very good looking car,but my model had some very serious problems for example it has drained my car battery four times, the ECU (car computer) has been broken. Rear water pump sometimes works somtimes doesn't, front windshield whipers in the int position stops working at the middle of the whindsheeld. My engine belt has produced squeaking noise when it started it in the morning
Yes it is very comfortable inside, big trunk nice interior, engine is strong (103 HP 1.4 16v) though, but it produce noise, steering is good (servo).
I didn't expected so many problems whit this car, but it is price that you have to take when you are buying used car (my is still at warranty so my car dealer must fix this problems).
This is good looking car whit solid good engine and I would buy it again, but with 4 doors.
CROATIA.
