1996 Dodge Dakota sport review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Fuel Pump, 200,000. idal air control valve and other throttle body parts, 205,000.
General comments?
This truck is a good truck in all honestly, al the years I have had it I have enjoyed it. at 200,000 as expected, all hell broke loose, fuel pump, and some other small parts. I currently have a problem even dodge can't figure out. when it gets hot, it quits. and I may say crappy part on dodge, they did not put a fuel filter on the truck. the only fuel filter is in the tank of the truck. which by the way cost me a total of 610 bucks for a new fuel pump. truck has been good untill 200k I can't complain due to the high mileage and it is 10 years old too. but I will not buy another dodge, past fords I had no problem with getting 500 k out of them with no problems.
