2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited review from North America
"8 out of 10"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Front brake Job at 50,000.
Both front power window motors replaced.
Both dash tweeters blown.
Very high idle at start-up...repair did not fix.
Tends to down shift very rough at low speeds.
Auto climate control does not work... heater blows cold air on passenger side.
General comments?
I really love the vehicle. It has great acceleration and once the engine is warm it runs very well. The gas mileage is poor, but what do you expect from a V-8 SUV.
I have had many of the problems that are common on here and was fortunate enough to have bought an extended warranty that covered most of the repairs. If I did not have the extended warranty, I would not be nearly as satisfied with the vehicle. Overall, I have to say that I have had no more problems with it than I did my last Nissan and I enjoy driving it much more.
