2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac review from North America
"Awesome, fun to drive, all around good vehicle"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rear window leaks when raining hard.
CD's stick when being ejected after being played for a while.
Recently started to idle rough, even though the spark plugs and wires have been changed.
Doors sound like they weigh a thousand pounds when shutting them from the hard slam.
General comments?
This is the first Ford vehicle that I have ever owned, and I am extremly pleased with it. I couldn't ask for a better vehicle. At times it is hard to pry my wife out of the driver's seat for me to enjoy the driving expierence.
Gas mileage can be a hassle, but is worth the sacrifice for such a great vehicle.
The handle is magnificent for a SUV/Truck. No problem zooming through traffic or down a curvy country road.
The inside is unbelievably spacious, with plenty of room for 5 adults.
The sunroof and power rear window is a convenience that I am not sure how I have lived without all these years.
I will definatly be in the market for another Sporttrac when I buy another vehicle.
