What things have gone wrong with the car?
The Gear Shifter Knob lost the "cap" that listed the gear positions, so the knob would slide off once the cap broke if you pulled up on it.
The Air Bag light was continuously on due to the sensors getting clogged. (We happen to live in a desert though, so this doesn't surprise me.)
The Window lever that controlled the passenger side window from the driver's side door started to be sluggish to respond.
General comments?
Overall, I cannot BELIEVE the quality of this car. In the six years I have owned it, I have taken it to the shop a total of 3, yes, three times!
Once for the air bag light / sensor issue, once for the gear shifter knob, and once for the window control.
I have not had one single solitary problem out of this car. I have to admit, I was leery when my husband "surprised" me with it. I did not want another car, and least of all a Hyundai.
Now, I thank my husband every single day for the decision he made on this vehicle. The warranty is second to none. The service we receive has always been impeccable with no hassle at all.
A lot of the car looks somewhat cheap, with plastic everywhere, etc. I'm not a fan of the road noise, and sometimes it rides a little rough, but if that's the biggest complaint I have after six years, I'm one happy camper!!
I would buy this car again in a heart beat, and in fact have had two different family members purchase the same make / model after they saw how happy we have been with ours. They haven't had any complaints with theirs either.
The interior is a little cramped if you have a lot of kids, but this is one of the best "starter" cars around, and the gas mileage isn't bad either.
All in all, this is the best vehicle I've ever purchased for the money in my life.
