1989 Holden Commodore VN review from Australia and New Zealand
"Can't kill the petrol guzzler"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Clutch needed to be replaced at 195000 km.
Electric locks died at 200000km.
Window winders died at 190000km.
Alternator needed new bearings at 210000km.
Speed sensor died in the gear box at 200000km and again at 205000km.
General comments?
Car has always started first time every time.
Everything else on the body though, seems to wear down and break.
Car handles well when driven to its limit in suburbs and on open roads.
However handles like a pig in town, guzzling gas with a large turning circle.
