2002 Chevrolet Impala Base review from North America
"Great Leg Room, Fuel Economy and Reliability"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
No problems at 41,500 miles.
General comments?
This car has been very reliable. It may have slightly less power than our two previous Crown Victoria's, but it handles better and gets much better gas mileage. We drove from north Texas to New Mexico last week and averaged 31 mpg on the way to and 33 mpg on the return. The car still has the original tires and brakes. I haven't spent a dime other than regular maintenance and one pair of windshield wipers. I like this car better than our two previous Fords and much much better than our Toyota's and Subaru. Surprisingly this car gets better mileage than our tiny, gutless, 1993 Corolla that also had poor handling and much more maintenance problems.
