2000 Oldsmobile Alero review from North America
"Costly and frustrating"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
2 windows don't work - had to buy windows and regulators, and when I went to put them in, I found that the 50 cent clips are all broke. I cannot return the 2 motors and the 2 regulators because I bought them on ebay. I LOST big time. Also, no one seems to have the clips - I tried everywhere. It seems like you have to buy the new window also if your clips are broke, and it is a common problem.
Also, I need to put in an intake, and they have to open the engine to put in new gaskets - a big job and costly.
The track light stays on, and the anti-lock brake light stays on. My car is lit up more than my Christmas tree is.
The fan for the car motor runs at different speeds, and only the low speed worked. I replaced that myself.
The dealership is nasty and costly. They just don't care. GM doesn't care to fix the problems that are common in their cars. SO I Don't CARE TO BUY GM ANYMORE.
