1999 Saturn SW SW2 review from North America
"Not a good buy"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternator replaced.
Wheel alignment.
Doors sticking.
Trunk lid closes badly and squeaks.
General comments?
For a new car, my wife and I have been very disappointed in this. The quality of build is just disappointing compared to our old Honda.
The car lacks power - the cruise control has a habit of over revving when you go up even the smallest hill with it.
The car has only broken down on us once. At the most inconvienient time of course.
We paid 18k for this car including all power, CD player, cruise control, alloys etc.
Basically we are just a little disappointed with the build quality.
That said, Saturn's service was very good.
