1994 Pontiac Grand Prix SE review from North America
"It will treat you well, if you love it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
- Passenger side door leaks
- Cigarette lighter casing fell out
- Cupholders are useless and are only good for putting loose change in them.
- centre console lid is broken
- front right brake pad is broken and split in half
- drinks gas once it gets to half tank
- left turn signal stalls sometimes in the first 5 minutes of driving the car.
- A/C does not work
- Ashtray is poorly placed (should be where the cup holders are)
General comments?
I have only driven this car for 10,000 kms. All the stuff that has gone wrong with the car, are easily fixable. But I have a bad bad feeling that I will be buying brake pads and rotors A LOT!!! It has NO OIL LEAKS and the engine runs great. The auto transmission, shifts very smoothly. But I reccomend to flush your transmission and replace the seal if it is sweating. Gas wise is great until I get until half tank - then it guzzels like a V12 Jag!!!
I got this car cheaply and is great for someone like me who is 25 and just starting out.
If anyone else has tricks of the trade with this car and would like to talk about it please email me willvojtisek@hotmai.com.
