2003 Mazda Demio GSi review from UK and Ireland
"Solid reliability from Mazda as you would expect!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong in over 21,000 miles of motoring.
General comments?
This was purchased as a second vehicle mainly to be used by my wife. We wanted a car that was going to be reliable, practical and economical. I think we got all of these from the Demio.
Reliability is superb. Not one thing wrong in the 3+ years we've had it. Always starts fine and runs fine.
OK, so it looks a bit odd and is not the fastest thing around, but as it's mainly used for short runs (less than 15 miles) like shopping trips, going to and from work etc., it's fine.
My only criticisms are that it can be a bit uncomfortable on longer journeys and fuel economy is not brilliant (around 35MPG).
