2000 GMC Jimmy review from North America
"Lemon...take it back"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Door hinge pins at 60k.
Intake gasket leak at 65k
transfer case gasket leak at 65k.
No gas gauge, seat handle or wheel bearings yet...
Some snotty kids shot my window out at 60k and shattered the passenger side window, now its been replaced and makes a Crack/snap noise when rolling down window (auto windows)
Front end makes a Popping Noise when cranking wheel hard in any gear in any direction, mechanic says nothing unusual... sounds like axle popping.. can't get it fixed...
Now have this HIDEOUS WHINE/HUM from the vehicle in any gear IF ROLLING/MOVING, if stopped doesn't make noise.. mechanic looks at me like I am imagining these things..
HELP!! shoot me an email.. LILREDDVL@CABLEONE.NET if you have any suggestion on what this noise is.
General comments?
My Altima is older, has more miles and has been run and driven hard and still runs better then this jimmy. I will never buy another one again..
No matter how Nice I am to this car and how well its taken care of, it still shows bad wear and tear. I take care of my Altima the same way and it looks better then this jimmy. My Altima is three years older and has 30k more miles.. somethings wrong with this picture..
