1987 Oldsmobile Toronado FE3 review from North America
"Trouble free economical luxury sport coupe :if you can find one buy it!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Glove compartment latch failed requiring replacement.
Battery charge depletes if car is not driven within three days of last use.
General comments?
The consumate domestic luxury sport coupe of the late 1980's.
These little "W"platform front wheel drive Toronado's are powered with one of General Motors' best motors;the fuel injected 3800 V6.This was a very well designed luxury sport machine. The sleek classic lines put this baby 10 years ahead of its time.Fully optioned with sun roof, Bose sound. heated leather seats with power lumbar .16 inch alloys and FE3 suspension. put this car at the top of the fun to drive list. It is still the most trouble free and economical car that I have owned.
