1997 Lancia Delta 1.6 review from Bulgaria

The only thing that has gone wrong with the car till now I s the aft brakes. They quited on me while I was on the road and speeding in the winter. It sounds scary, but it was not actually, the front brakes took the burnt and I was able to take it to my dealer to fix it. The fault was actually mine because I did not check them when I bought the car.

Otherwise everything is working properly.

The car is great. It handles very good altough it has a small engine (the smallest in the family all others are more than 100 HP and this is only 75). So it is not very quick and below 2500 RPM it is sluggish, but when you keep the RPMs over 2500 it is handling very good, decent acceleration good stability in curves. And it is for sure very comfortable, the design of the interior and the exterior is really to my liking. Everything else is not relevant, only thing I can say is that I feel like reborn after the experience in my previous car. The fuel consumption is relatively high 10 litres per 100 kilometers in town driving. Country driving it goes around 8 per 100. With extensive use of the aircondition unit it goes up by a litre.
