2006 Mazda 323 Fastback GLX review from UK and Ireland
"COOL"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
General comments?
We bought this car when we needed to get rid of out Austin Metro.
The first great thing was the relief of not having to, but a paper bag on your head every time you go out to like you had to in that hideous Metro so as not to feel embarrassed.
It handles like a dream and goes round corners with minimal; body roll.
The great thing is that when you look at all the small family cars at the time, Escorts, Astra's,, that sort of thing they were all pretty dull in just about every way, but this looks really sporty with the pop up lights and sleek styling. This is also a rare car.
The 1.6 88 BHP engine may not be exactly that fast with a top speed of a 110 MPH, but it does have a decent amount of go to it, and is fun.
The comfort is excellent, the seats look like a cross between normal car seats and bucket racing seats. It is a little loud at high speeds, but not that bad really.
