2002 Buick Rendezvous CX review from North America
"Good car - Bad mechanicals"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Both front wheel bearings died at about 55,000 miles. $450.00 per wheel - no help from the dealer - I tried 2.
The window raisers for both the driver side and the passenger side failed at 53,000 $300.00 per door. No help from the dealer - I tried 2.
Recently, the air conditioning condesor died and it needs to be replaced -$800.00 - No help from the dealer.
Plastic breaks at the rear hatch.
Door latch on driver side allows 1/4" of the door past body line.
My Mechanic says I have a leaking head gasket $1500.00 -
These are all common with this car.
General comments?
The car is a good size and does what I need when I don't have to work on it. Buick would have a winner if the dealer network supported the vehicle. I would like ot have one that didn't cost so much extra. I will most likely be forced to buy something else.
