1988 Chevrolet Corsica LT review from North America
"Handyman's special"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Just about everything went wrong on my car:
I replaced the brakes several times.
The fuel pump.
Gas tank.
Blinker switch in the steering column.
The power windows ripped the glass out of the guide rails.
The headlight switch.
Injectors.
Belts.
The alternator two or three times.
Ignition coil pack.
Plugs and wires twice.
Shocks, and MUCH MUCH more.
It leaked everything - tranny fluid, oil, power steering fluid, and coolant.
General comments?
I gotta give the thing some credit, it had over 100k, things are gonna go wrong, I beat the living hell out of the engine, and it still runs perfect to this day.
The quality of this car was absolutely terrible except for the engine. I wouldn't buy one if you're looking to, unless you've got a junkyard nearby with a couple Corsicas - you'll be there a lot getting parts.
