1994 Mitsubishi Express SH Window Van 4dr Man 5sp 2.0 review from Australia and New Zealand
"Simple Reliable affordable economical"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Air conditioner has to be converted to the new type of gas.
Radiator at 180,000 km.
Clutch at 215,000 km.
Carburetor rebuild at 220,000 (but perhaps I was using LPG too much???)
Steering wheel became all squishy and was replaced at 250000 km (is a general fault and reconditioned ones are available)
Ceiling cloth became unstuck and comming down at about 240,000 km (as I leave it in the sun allot) --had it replaced.
Exhaust system changed first time at 275,000 km.
Has very cheap interior, but can easily be replaced by stained plywood screwed in. (it is easy to deck out a van)
General comments?
Very good with dual fuel (LPG & Petrol) as LPG doesn't require fuel injection (is carburated)
Only need sohc with lpg.
Not much can go wrong with these.
