2000 Daewoo Nubira review from North America
"Good car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This is a maintenance thirsty car,
every 30,000 miles or so you must replace timing belt.
Control arms and 50,000 miles strust and engine gaskets.
If you use synthetic oil that's better.
General comments?
This car is good, atleast for the price you pay, for cars you buy at the same price they feel like coffins, atleast it's a roomy car, my nubira gives me 30+ on highway and 25 in city.
It is bit noisy, but if you change engine mount and struts noise will decrease significantly.
I have a 120k travelled car and yesterday only I touched 110 miles per hours, while my friends honda with same age declines to go above 90.
All in all if you take proper care of this car and spend $200-$300 on this car per year, it will prove to be a good car.
