2000 Cadillac Seville STS review from North America
"Not bad"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
So far so good. I have a bit of a rough idle, but Caddy Dealer says that that is because of Carbon build-up on the valves. SeaFoam took care of it for awhile, but it returned. Driver's window don't work. The cable slipped off the wheel. Looks like an easy fix if I can find the parts. I am disappointed by the chincy plastic that this car is made of. Things like to crack or break off. Did they get the plastic from Yugo? So far I cannot complain. Reliability is excellent so far so I will not give a figure below as I have only had the car for about three months. I sold my Catera. It was becoming a money pit. I hope that the STS is slightly less troublesome than the Catera. I will keep all updated.
General comments?
Nice so far. I purchased an extended warranty so I am not worrying too much. Very fast car. I get about 19.5 mpg in the city and 22mpg on the expressway.
