1982 Ford Granada GL review from North America
"It's just another grandma's car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
More like what hasen't...so much has gone wrong she could have bought that damn car 3 times over. I believe the last thing that went wrong with it, was something that had to do with the carburetor, and died leaving my 80 year old grandmother stranded on the freeway. that was over a thousand dollars to fix. and the time before that it started misfiring and shuddering like crazy. also, when starting the car, you have to put your foot to the floor jsut to get it started! I do not trust this car one bit.
General comments?
I would say that this car is total junk, but its not. because it belongs to an old grama who hates driving, it has only 72,091 miles on it. but it has broken down too many times. its old I guess. but a good thing is, its always parked in a garage, so the paint it perfect, and the interior is perfect. I can really say that the plastic wood trim looks like real wood. the only thing wrong with the interior, is the headliner is about to fal completely off. oh, and the performance... very very very bad. so much as to say that putting your foot to the floor makes little difference over halfway to the floor. all that hapens is the rpm's raise maybe 1 or 2 hundred and then it gets choked up and has a ahard time starting next time. but other than that, the seats are really really comfortable and big.
